The IPBES task force on scenarios and models, with the support of the task force on capacity-building, will host a webinar on the Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Scenarios-based Model Intercomparison (BES-SIM) exercise.

The webinar will include a presentation on the BES-SIM exercise and its results, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Everyone interested is welcome to attend.

For those wishing to take part in the review of the draft of the nature futures framework and methodological guidance, IPBES will host a stakeholder workshop in multiple languages in three different time-zones to assist you with this.

Nature Futures Framework draft open for external review

This external review is addressed to Governments and interested and qualified experts, including scientists, decision makers, practitioners and other knowledge holders.

There will be a series of online workshops organised by IPBES for various stakeholder groups:


1. IPBES National Focal Points and other government representatives: Monday 4 October
2. All stakeholders: Wednesday 6 October
3. Indigenous and local knowledge holders: between 28 and 30 September and on 19 October
