All IPBES stakeholders, and their respective networks, are invited to attend the Stakeholder Days prior to the eighth session of the Plenary of the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (#IPBES8), on Thursday, 3 June 2021 to Wednesday, 9 June 2021. This will be a virtual event. If you have not already done so, we invite you to register here: https://ipbes.net/ipbes-8/. POSTERS

We would also like to inform you that there will be opportunities to highlight IPBES-related stakeholder initiatives during #IPBES8. Stakeholders interested in showcasing their IPBES-related initiatives are invited to do so by way of posters.

The posters should showcase IPBES-related work, achievements, initiatives, and information (for example self-organized initiatives supporting IPBES processes or disseminating IPBES findings). Only those who are already registered participants in the #IPBES8 Stakeholder Days will be able to submit posters. Deadline for submission of posters is 20 May 2021.

Posters must be in the format of

  1. A one-page PDF and should be ‘portrait’ in terms of layout/orientation (‘landscape’ format will not be accepted), or

  2. One recorded (maximum 2 minute) presentation video, to which you can also (optionally) add one related poster in PDF format (your corresponding poster will be available next to your video presentation).

Schedule for online display

Posters will be displayed on an IPBES online platform during the entire duration of the Stakeholder Days (from 3 June – 9 June 2021) and Plenary session (from 14 June – 24 June 2021). Posters will be accessible after the IPBES Plenary session on the Stakeholder Days page of IPBES website.

All posters will require the pre-approval of the IPBES secretariat and only approved posters will be displayed on the online platform. We encourage you to please submit an electronic copy of your poster design for advance approval, and include in your submission your name, country, institutional affiliation by email on: [email protected].
