INVITATION - Workshop - Developing scientific methodological foundations for ecosystem services valuation in Ukraine - 28-29 November 2019
Dear all,
Ukraine is launching the assessment of biodiversity and ecosystem services at a national scale, drawing on the experience, methodology and results of IPBES regional and thematic assessments. In this regard, Ukrainian National Forestry University (UNFU) and State Museum of Natural History of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine will hold a workshop entitled “Developing scientific-methodological foundations for ecosystem services valuation in the context of implementing international conservation agreements”. The event will be held in Lviv, Ukraine on November 28-29, 2019. Ukrainian experts as well as international experts are all invited. Participants will discuss international experiences and methodological approaches to ecosystem services valuation, in order to provide recommendations on legal provisions to be implemented in Ukraine.
