7th meeting of the IPBES capacity-building forum

The IPBES Secretariat is inviting collaborative supporters and other interested stakeholders to participate in the 7th meeting of the IPBES capacity-building forum. The focus of this meeting will be on building capacities in support of the second global assessment of IPBES: how can we contribute to this endeavour?

The online and in-person meeting dialogue will be held in Trondheim, Norway on 14-15 October 2024.

The Second Global Assessment is a sequel to the 2019 Global Assessment: "the largest assessment of the state of nature conducted as of yet" according to the authors, which changed the discussion of biodiversity around the world.
