International Biodiversity Day Celebration: Multilateral Geneva Creating Interlinkages and driving Transformative Change in Harmony with Natura and Sustainable Development

Join us to celebrate International Biodiversity Day, discussing the findings of the IPBES Nexus Assessment and the Transformative Change Assessment and how they serve as a basis to debate the multilateral system and the interconnected challenges that result from the accelerated speed and scale of environmental change and rising inequalities identified in the assessments.

The event will be held in person at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, Switzerland, and livestreamed on YouTube!

The 2025 edition theme “Harmony with nature and sustainable development” focuses on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Goals and Targets of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF), with the main theme: "Multilateral Geneva Creating Interlikages and driving Transformative Change in Harmony with Natura and Sustainable Development".
