Solutions for the Planet's Interlinked Challenges webinar series
28 May 2025, 16:00 CEST and 11 June 2025, 16:00 CEST | online webinar
Join us for the fifth and sixth sessions of the Solutions for the Planet's Interlinked Challenges webinar series, organised by the WWF. In this webinar series, several experts are exploring the connections between the IPBES Nexus Assessment and the IPBES Transformative Change Assessment.
The webinar series is debating nexus elements at every monthly meeting, and you can find the previous webinars recorded here. Seminar One presented an overview of the IPBES Nexus and Transformative Change assessments, with keynote speakers Taylos Ricketts and Lucas Garibaldi (recording available). In the Seminar Two, the debate was around Health, and the nexus between health, biodiversity, and quality of life, with Ro McFarlane and Lynne Shannon as speakers (recording available). During the third webinar, Pete Smith and Iago Otero conducted a discussion focusing on Climate, and the positive and negative effects on other parts of the nexus (recording available). Last month's session was conducted by Fabrice DeClerck and Jerneja Penca, in a conversation focusing on Food as a fundamental human right and the impacts in the nexus arrangement (recording available).
