SDG Academy: Integrating Indigenous Perspectives into Research
8 May 2025, 16:00 - 17:30 CEST | online webinar
Indigenous knowledge systems offer vital, relational ways of understanding the world—yet they are often overlooked in dominant research and policy frameworks. This exclusion can lead even well-intentioned efforts, like the green energy transition, to reproduce extractive and colonial dynamics.
This online SDG Academy webinar explores the vital role of Indigenous perspectives in reshaping research practices toward greater ethics and reciprocity. Across two talks, we’ll examine how these perspectives drive a much-needed paradigm shift in areas like sustainability, climate action, and resource governance.
