Meet the IPBES Secretariat

Meet the IPBES Secretariat on 23 November 2023 at 07.00 CST/ 14.00 CET / 20.00 ICT.

Together with the International Indigenous Forum on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IIFBES), we'll have the opportunity to ask questions in person and get first-hand insights from the coordinators of IPBES.

The IPBES Secretariat administers the platform and implements its work functions. It ensures that IPBES functions efficiently, by supporting the Plenary, Bureau and Multidisciplinary Expert Panel. It is led by the Executive Secretary at the headquarters in Bonn, Germany.
