The Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), and the UN Development Programme (UNDP) are inviting to The Nature for Life Hub 2023.

"Featuring nature champions, mobilizers, leaders, dreamers, and doers, the Nature for Life Hub 2023 will ignite global action for safeguarding nature and realizing the ambitious goals of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework."

Special Highlight on IPBES: Save the date for the session presented by BES-Net!
Under the segment titled "All in for Nature: Promoting Whole-of-Society Approaches for Nature," a session coordinated by BES-Net is scheduled on 9 November 2023 from 09:25 am to 10:15 am EDT. This session is a combined effort by UNDP, the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Türkiye. Be there to be part of the change!

 

Programme summary

Day 1

Preserving Our Planetary Safety Net – Identifying what it will take to deliver the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework.

Day 2

Delivering a Nature-positive Economy – Transforming systems to create incentives for an economy that accounts for nature’s values.

Day 3

Promoting Whole of Society Approaches for Nature – Fostering collaboration to protect, restore and manage nature.
