"A (free) webinar marking the global launch of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures' (TNFD) recommendations."

"Following the official launch at New York Climate Week, the TNFD is hosting a public webinar on the final version (v1) of its recommendations. This comes after a two-year development period, four beta releases, and 3000+ pieces of feedback analysed and incorporated into the design. The webinar will cover:
- TNFD’s finalised disclosure recommendations.
- Additional guidance – the LEAP Approach, sector & biome-specific guidance, value chains and others.
- Metrics.
- Where the TNFD is going next.
Speakers will include the TNFD Co-Chairs, Taskforce Members, and the TNFD Secretariat. The event will take place on 19 September at 7:00 New York / 12:00 London / 13:00 Paris / 19:00 Singapore / 21:00 Canberra.

The challenge we solve
"Nature loss poses both risks and opportunities for business, now and in the future. More than half of the world’s economic output – US$44tn of economic value generation – is moderately or highly dependent on nature.
Currently, financial institutions and companies don’t have the information they need to understand how nature impacts the organisation’s immediate financial performance, or the longer-term financial risks that may arise from how the organisation, positively or negatively, impacts nature.
Better information will allow financial institutions and companies to incorporate nature-related risks and opportunities into their strategic planning, risk management and asset allocation decisions."
