Restore HER Rights Webinar Series: Webinar 7 - Integrating Gender Equality in Ecosystem Restoration
28 November 2025, 13:00 CET | online
Join us for the final episode of the Restore HER Rights Webinar Series: Integrating Gender Equality in Ecosystem Restoration, a seven-part global event dedicated to advancing gender equality in ecosystem restoration. From April to November 2025, this series have brought together practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and community leaders to share stories of resilience, highlight women-led initiatives, and promote gender-responsive approaches that strengthen biodiversity and sustainable land management.
Throughout the sessions, we explored how integrating gender perspectives enhances restoration outcomes, addressing systemic barriers and amplifying women’s leadership in ecological and social transformation. Each webinar will spotlight practical experiences from around the world — from Indigenous women safeguarding traditional knowledge to innovators driving inclusive restoration projects.
Anchored in key global frameworks such as the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KM-GBF), and the UNCCD, the series aims to inspire action, build partnerships, and shape more equitable policies. Together, we can restore ecosystems while restoring rights — ensuring a future where gender equality and environmental sustainability thrive hand in hand.
