"What will it take to accelerate species recovery and amplify success? Reverse the Red would like to welcome everyone to the World Species Congress, taking place virtually across 24 hours on May 15. The 24-hour program of the World Species Congress is designed to create a collision of ideas. We want to learn from different sectors, different taxa, and even from outside traditional conservation. When we connect with different ideas and strategies, we are better equipped to refine and develop our own efforts.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, registration for the World Species Congress is free for everyone who wants to participate. You'll have access to:

  • the 24-hour live stream.
  • live chat discussions with presenters post-presentation.
  • downloadable resources, tools, and strategy frameworks.
  • next steps in training and collaboration, taking your conservation work to the next level.

Reverse the Red hopes as you and your community engage with the World Species Congress, you delve into topics that are new to you, as well as those that closely align with your work and areas of interest. We intend the program to generate curiosity and dialog among you. We also hope that each topic provides an opportunity for a next immediate step to strengthen your conservation impact."

Host a satellite event

"In order to truly harness the passion for species conservation, Reverse the Red partners are hosting synchronous and asynchronous satellite events that are taking place virtually and person. Identifying your audience, positive messaging, and desired outcomes from your event is key to planning a successful satellite event. These events will help to expand the reach of the key messages of the Congress, drive conversations, create or enhance networks, introduce public visitors to behavior change campaigns, provide an opportunity to connect with global biodiversity conservation campaigns, and inspire outside the box thinking.

The attached is by no means an exhaustive list of ideas for satellite events. We are encouraging all to make events their own, as you know what will be most useful to your organization and audience."
